This is an ideal peak preparation for the expedition above 7,000 m Chulu East peak combines with climbing and trekking around Annapurna or circuit offering a scenic panoramic adventure in Annapurna region.

Chulu East Peak Climbing with Thorang-La starts right from Jagat  via Besisahar, headquarters of Lamjung district which goes along the Marshyangdi River, using the main route of  around Annapurna circuit up to Ngawal and Julu village with great views of Manaslu and Himal Chuli to the east.  From Ngawal moving further to Julu and to Chulu East base camp at 4,700 m for final preparation and final ascent to the summit, above the base camps making High Camp 5,300 m to make it possible for the climb to the summit. Chulu East Peak offers a panorama and mesmerizing views of Mt. Annapurna range, Manaslu, Tilicho peak and many other mountains of great Himalaya. Another adventure of this trip is traversing the Thorong-la pass at 5,416 meters, for some trekkers finds hard crossing this pass, due to its high altitude and snow on the trail sometimes. Chulu East Peak Climbing with Thorang-La trip in the end leads to the sacred place of Muktinath a holy spot for both Hindus and Buddhists, Muktinath which literally means ‘the place for Nirvana or Liberation’ and trekking in the world’s deepest gorge at Kali Gandaki valley, this trip finally concludes with a super scenic short flight from Jomsom to the famous tourist spot at Pokhara with its pristine Lake Phewa, being in Pokhara which is another highlight of this trip.  After spending night in Pokhara, an interesting scenic driving journey to Kathmandu after a most amazing adventure in the Annapurna Himalaya with Adventure Guide Team Treks & Expeditions.

  • Day 01:  Arrival at Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
    On arrival in Kathmandu, you are warmly greeted by Adventure Guide Team Treks & Expeditions staff at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). Our representatives will assist then transfer to respective hotels.
  • Day 02: In Kathmandu preparation for trekking and climbing.
    On this day an opportunity for shopping essential equipments, gears, harness, crampons, ice axe with leash, webbing, cord, trekking poles, sleeping bag, headwear, footwear and other stuffs. In the meantime Adventure Guide Team Treks & Expeditions staff will obtain necessary permits and papers for the expeditions. There will be a special meeting in the evening regarding pre-climbing discussion with all field staffs and guides.
  • Day 03: Drive to Jagat 1,290 m via Besisahar 800 m-08 hrs.
    After a good breakfast begin this trip with a drive to Jagat via the town of Beshishar enjoying the great views of Himalayans above top of green hills, drive follows the Prithvi Highway till it reach at Dumre from where here ride towards north to reach Beshishar is just 178k m  / 111mile headquarter of Lamjung area located far west from Kathmandu valley, journey continues Leaving Beshishar following the dirt road that drops to a stream to Bhalam Khola and to Khudi, Bhulbhule and Ngadi.  Crosse the streams driving through rice terraces and passing several villages of Syange The ride climbs leaving the Marshyangdi River and reaches to a small settlement of Jagat for overnight stop.
  • Day 04: Trek to Dharapani 1,920 m 05 hours.
    The tail descends to the Marshyangdi River to the east bank and continues through a lush forest. The trail offers the mesmerizing view of backdrop of towering Annapurna mountain ranges. After crossing a suspension bridge, climb steeply towards the slippery and physically challenging path to Sattale. The trail passes several villages such as Tal Besi, Tal Karte and reaches Dharapani for overnight stop.
  • Day 05: Trek to Chame 2,670 m 05 hours.
    The trail goes along the mule track through dense forest of fir, pine, oak and maple. This region is also rich in its age old culture. The great view of world’s 08th highest Mt. Manaslu 8,163m / 26,781ft with hotels is in Timang, leaving Timang walk for another hour passing the village of Koto to reach Chame a small town and the district headquarters of Manang area.
  • Day 06: Trek to Pisang 3,300 m- 06 hrs.
    Today a moderate trekking, following trail through pine woods and small villages with few ups and downs till it reach the orchard village of Bhratang with apple orchard, walking along the bank of Marshyangdi River and crossing the river twice and trek through the rhododendron, oak and pine forests to reach Nuovo village which has few houses made of stones and Dhukure Pokhari (Pond) ahead. Then cross a bridge over Marshyangdi River and follow the bank to reach the village of Lower Pisang for overnight stop.
  • Day 07: Trek to Julu 3,900 m -05 hrs.
    The trail first leads along the bank of Marshyangdi River passing through the forest and brings to Ghyaru. From Ghyaru, walk furthermore on the higher altitude, one can notice change in vegetation and landscapes around this region.The environment around Manang looks much barren and arid with cold and dry climate, trek along the bank of Marshyangdi River to reach the village of Julu for the overnight camp.
  • Day 08: Rest day at Julu for acclimatization and local hike.
    Rest day at Julu for proper acclimatization and local hike around, this rest day is a must as the altitude gets in and the air gets thinner. There are good places for a short hike around with superb views of the snow capped mountains.
  • Day 09: Trek to Chulu East Base Camp 4,700 m -04 hrs.
    The walk leaves the last village for complete wilderness on the barren landscapes withviews of both Chulus and the Annapurnas. The walk meanders to a steep climb for an hour with few gradual portion on route the valley that runs up toward the col between the East and Far East Peaks of Chulu for the overnight camp and as well Base Camp for the climb.
  • Day 10: Trek and climb to Chulu High Camp at 5,300 m 04 hrs.
    The faintl define path climbs up following the Chegaji Khola on the east bank and finally arriving at moraines below the col after three to four hours of strenuous walk. The high camp here forms a launching for both the South-West Ridge of Chulu Far East and as well for our climb from the East Ridge of Chulu East Peak.
  • Day 11: Rest Day at High Camp.
    Rest day for acclimatization and for the preparation of the climb, our climbing guide will scout the area of the climb and will fix ropes where necessary.
  • Day 12: Climb of Chulu East and descend to base camp.
    The route continues up the snow ridge ahead to the summit which is exposed at first but is climbed without much difficulty. On reaching the top great panoramic views of the surrounding snow capped mountains and the valley down below, after a memorable moment descend back to base camp for the overnight.
  • Day 13: Trek back to Julu - 05 hours.
    After a successful climb of Chulu East retrace the journey back to small Julu village for the overnight stop.
  • Day 14: Trek to Manang 3,520m -05 hrs.
    From Julu trek continues on with grand views of the high snow capped peaks, and descending steeply. The trek is more or less gradual on the wide path most of the way to Manang via the village of Braga, here we will have time to spend the morning visiting Braga Monastery. The largest in the district, it has an outstanding display of statues, thangkas and the religious manuscripts.  From here it is only an hour walk to Manang for the overnight stop.
  • Day 15: Trek to Yak Kharka 4,110 m - 04 hours.
    Today walk through village of Ghunsang and continue winding up hill walk to Yak Kharka, leaving Tilicho trail behind head towards north adopting higher altitude walking along the river bank of Gundon Khola. Then cross the river and trek for few hours to reach a small settlement of Yak Kharka which is the vantage point for views of Annapurna III and Chulu Peak.
  • Day 16: Trek to Thorong Phedi and to High Camp 4,600m- 04 hrs.
    After breakfast follow the trail that leads to a small settlement of Ledar. The trail further crosses a bridge and continues climbs along the east bank of the Jarjung Khola. Then following a narrow path across an unstable steep slope and then descending to Thorung Phedi with another hour to High Camp of Thorang for the overnight stop.
  • Day 17: Cross Thorong-La 5,416 m and to Muktinath 3,800 m-07 hrs.
    After early breakfast follow the trail with steep climbs up walks continue to the completely mesmerizing Thorung La Pass at 5,416 m / 17,700 ft. The high altitude and snowy trail of this pass might create little obstacles while crossing the glacier moraines. But this Pass is easy for stronger climbers like us to cross it. The trail makes a long descend to Muktinath 3,800 m. Muktinath is a sacred place both for Hindus and Buddhists located in Muktinath Valley which literally means ‘the place for Nirvana or Liberation’ with overnight stop at Muktinath.
  • Day 18: Trek down to Kagbeni 2,858 m - 04 hours.
    A short and easy walk today on leaving Muktinath, continue descend passing the traditional village like Jharkot, explore the cultural and tradition of Thakali people which are just similar to Tibetans. A few hours of walk reaches to the village of Kagbeni which is located in the valley of the Kali Gandaki River on route Upper Mustang, overnight at Kagbeni.
  • Day 19:  Trek to Jomsom 2,715 m -04 hrs.
    Morning  journey the last trekking of this memorable interesting adventure after breakfast tackle the last day of this trip descending towards southern direction through Kali Gandaki valley to Jomsom. Following the trails downstream of Kaligandaki River through Ekle Bhatti 2,740 m to reach Jomsom at 2,715 m. Jomsom is the headquarter of Mustang district and a big town of Mustang region with apple orchards and apple products, on reaching Jomsom check in the best homely lodge with time for a stroll around the town while our guide will re-confirm the flight ticket, in the evening celebrate on the happy occasion of this successful trip with the crew members and porters.
  • Day 20: Morning flight to Pokhara 820 m- 22 mins and transfer to hotel.
    An early flight of 22 minutes above the world’s deepest Gorge takes you to the mesmerizing town of Pokhara; enjoy the magnificent views of massif Himalaya including Annapurna range and Dhaulagiri and other surrounding peaks during flight. Pokhara the second largest sub-metropolitan city of Nepal with several pristine lakes like Fewa, Rupa and Begnas, with panorama views of fascinating mountains and natural beautiful landscapes with time to visit Bindawasini Temple, Tal Barahi Temple, David Falls, Mahendra cave and Gupteshor Mahadev cave in the nature rich city of Pokhara.
  • Day 21: A scenic drive to Kathmandu 1,350m / 4,428ft- 05 hrs.
    Morning drive to Kathmandu enjoying the great views of Himalayans above the top of green hills, this scenic interesting drive of approx six hours to reach Kathmandu on arrival check into respective hotels with time for walk around busy Thamel area.
  • Day 22: Free day in Kathmandu.
    The last day of this great adventure trip with Adventure Guide Team Treks & Expeditions and in Nepal today catch the last minute souvenir shopping with last night dinner with the group member and staffs.
  • Day 23: Final departure for home ward bound.
    Our office staff assists you with the complimentary transfer to airport for your departure flight to your onward destinations your wonderful moments with us.

To secure your proposed destination in your time you should pay 20% of your total payment as deposit as an advanced. Remember if you not able to attend in your tour on time you can postpone for two years. After two years if you leave the trip we won’t refund your deposit money. Can you give me detail information about hotel in which I will stay in Kathmandu?
According to our agreement we will provide you the star hotel or guesthouse, economic hotel and homestay available in Kathmandu. In the hotel normally 2 people can accommodated in each room but if you need special room we can provide you with adding the cast of the room. But during the trekking we can’t provide you special room because of lack of rooms in guesthouse and teahouse.

With whom we can go trekking?
We have well experience guides and porters for trekking special they will help you in your adventure trekking in Nepal. The guide who leads you is well trained and well experience for trekking destination. Moreover, he has knowledge in rescue and other primary health care and first aid box. The difference of our guide is very friendly and knowledgeable about the region that’s why you will get proper information of the trekking and tours spots.

Vouchers
Tour voucher is necessary for trekking and tours but it is optional whether you can buy from your own country of from Nepal too. It is difficult to get domestic ticket easily and simply that’s why we need to conform 1/2 month before. Moreover, in hotel and guest house we make conform to reserve our room and other necessary things. For your easiness you can send all the detail available in voucher like voucher number and redemption code.

Trekking
The trekking itself is enjoyable and comfortable. Although, we will observe your ability for walking and suggest to walk normally 5-7 hours and 10/12 kms per day. The another major concern is the route determine your ratio of walking. In the easy road and route we will go something fast and in remaining route we walk less than normal walking hours.

Whether in Nepal

 

Nepal is land-locked country lies between India and Nepal. The altitude of Nepal is starts from 60 meters to 8848 meters, which indicate the weather is not similar in all over the country. Moreover, most of Himalayas are covered by the snow where you cant go easily or you can’t visit without warm and strong clothes.  Comfortable clothes and shoes are inevitable during the trekking. The year can be classified in four major seasons which has different seasonal impact. Spring, summer, autumn and winter are the season from which you can choose your necessary material and thing when you will plan to visit Nepal. The temperature of spring season will be in between 20C to 30C. It means March to May falls in the spring season. Likewise summer season will starts from June and end in August. Likewise, September to November is called autumn season where the temperature will in between 20C to 30C and winter season starts with December and ends with February where the temperature will be in between 10C to 20C.

Can I know about electricity in Nepal?
Nepal is second richest country in the world because of high Himalayas and Snowy Mountain,    although sometime load shedding will suffer us time and again. But hotel and guesthouse managed the entire problem for plugging and other electric goods.

What currencies are accepted in Nepal?
You can pay in USA, EURO, AUD and other currency. You can exchange in money changer office, easily available in Nepal. Banks also provide you to change the money.

Likewise, You can use credit cards in major cities of Nepal like Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan etc. You can pay from credit cards in some shopping complex and Restaurants too.

How can I get rid from high altitude problem?
Nepal has its own special characteristics where hundreds of hundred of white snowy mountains are standing. To views those mountains are imaginary and challenging, while trekking in those Himalayas we might suffer the high altitude. When you go for trekking in high hill you should aware from high altitudes and its remedies. In the trekking you will provide all the primary medicine and preventive method. If you will suffer In high altitude our guide will take responsibility as he possible and rescue from there.

Drinking water
Nepal has enough resource in drinking water but it is difficult to get fresh water everywhere, that’s why you can use purified water and boiled water while you will engage in trekking,. You can purchase the water as an alternative option and we need more water while we go for trekking.

Who will provide the laundry facility and where?
You yourself are responsible for laundry service. Kathmandu, Pokhara and other main city have the laundry facility and in trekking you can’t get the service.

What types of clothes are necessary for trekking?
Its depends on your duration of trekking although the season effect the clothing. Light and comfortable clothes and shoes are must. In the winter season we need jackets and trousers.

Our company provides you the sleeping bags and other materials for accommodation.

Visa
Tribhuvan International Airport will provide you the visa of Nepal. You should pay $25 USD for per 15 days and $40 USD per 30 days. Please don’t forget to bring two photos to get visa.

How many people can go together in single trekking?
At least 1 to 15 people can go together in a group. But we will provide you the necessary guides and porters for the trekking.

What type of food is available in trekking?
In Kathmandu and other famous trekking and tour city you can choose various foods which is based on your demand or agreement and otherwise we will get Nepali local foods.

Personal expenditure?
We already contract for your trip money but other expenditure is depending on your choice. You can pay in shopping, extra enjoyment and the things exclude in trekking and tour packages which makes your trip little bit expensive.

Insurance
You must have traveler insurance because of unexpected situation comes while you will go for trekking and tours.  The advantage of travel insurance is to assist you in your medical expense, helicopter rescue, air ambulance, injury and death during your trekking and tours that’s why we suggest you for traveler insurance.
