Booking Terms

1. Down Payment

To secure place, 50% down payment is required to make in advance as per the company policy. Rest of the balance should be paid after you arrive to Kathmandu i.e., before the departure to the trek.

2. How to pay your deposit

We have 3 methods of payment. One is online payment, another is bank transfer and another is Western Union payment. You can choose any of the one method among these 3 for your easiness.

Bank service charge should be paid by the clients themselves at the time of deposit.

3. Payment from Western Union

It is the easier and cheaper way to transfer the money.

Find Western Union money transfer local agents in your nearby location and fill the Agent money order form. You will need below details about me:

4. Our Online payment

You can also make payment from our online payment system. For this, you must use your 3D activated card so that OTP code can be submitted before submission. There will be 4% charge for transaction through online payment system by the bank. 

You can find the link for our online payment system at the bottom of our website page. There is option of MasterCard, VISA Card, American Express for the mode of payment. These card must be 3D activated card and online transaction to Nepal must be possible. 

NOTE: Please contact your respective bank to know whether your card is 3D activated or not. If 3D isn’t activated then the payment won’t be successful. Don’t share your OTP with anyone else. Also, make sure whether your card can make payment to Nepal or not. Contact your card department for this. 

5. Payment of the Balance

Rest of the money, when you arrive in Kathmandu, pay us in our company full amount before trip departure. If you pay by credit card, there will be extra 4% service charge. We accept Nepalese Rupee, Euro, US dollar, Australian dollar, Pound Sterling, etc. 

6. Refund

No refund will be made for 75% deposit amount in case of cancellation of trip for any other else reason. Having paid full amount of any trip, you will get your money back but still cancellation charge is invoiced to you. Written notification of your cancellation should be made to cancel any trip.

7. Travel and Medical Insurance:

TGTA do not offer its customers any kind of travel insurance. Customers should purchase by themselves. Insurance must cover medical, accidental, natural disasters, emergency evacuation and trip cancellation expenses along with baggage and gears’ lost, theft or damage.

8. Supplement Charge

On our holidays tour / trek packages, rooms or tents are provided in twin sharing basis. Thus, single room supplement charge will be imposed to client who does not have another tour participant to share room /tent with according to your trip.

9. Incomplete Tour

No refund will be made to clients who drop out from the journey due to your reason regardless of whatever portions remain unused in the itinerary.

10. Unforeseen Circumstances

If Trekking Guide Team Adventure Company Pvt. Ltd has to cancel your trip because of last minute circumstances like war, natural disasters, conflict, unfavorable climate etc., we will be happy to refer you alternative trip of a similar standard. If you say that you don’t want the replaced trip, all money paid by you to our company will be refunded. But remember, any other expenses incurred by you as a result of this booking are entirely your responsibility.

11. Clients’ Responsible

A tour / trek guide who represents Trekking Guide Team Adventure Company deserves all authority during your tours. If you commit any unlawful act, you are responsible to leave the tour.

12. Impact on your journey

As Nepal is an underdeveloped country, our country’s facility and standard cannot match as per yours. But we will always provide you the best facility and service as per Nepal’s standard.

13. Travel Insurance

You must purchase comprehensive travel insurance package against medical, natural calamity, helicopter evacuation, personal accident, trip cancellation etc. This is strongly suggested to all our clients.

14. Tour Amendment

To make changes in any trek / tour itinerary, prior notice is compulsory. You’re advised to stay in touch with us and inform us about any of your updates.. But occasionally, you may be obliged to do so en route under certain circumstance for instance bad weather etc.

15. Papers & Documents

All necessary documents should be presented in sequence for example to issue visa, necessary permits etc. We’re not accountable in case of any trip formality not completed in time before the trip departs on the absent of essential papers and documents.

16. Flight Delay/Cancellation

There is virtually possibility of flight delay or postponement for notorious weather in Himalayan regions which could be happened, in particular, in Everest region (Lukla), Jomsom, Dolpa, Simikot and Jumla region etc. In such case your itinerary will be modified.

TGTA mission is to finance its community enhancement programs through the revenues generated by tourism. The proceeds from any TGTA organized tour and trek goes 5% directly to uplift educational status of needy children of rural areas of Nepal.
