Everest Base Camp, Cho-La Pass and Gokyo Trek, The Everest or the alternative name, Khumbu region, it is mainly focused and famous among all the trekking routes in the mountain regions. After the completion of the very trail, we get back to Lukla through Tengboche and Namche Bazaar.

In case of flight delayed for more than 2 days, we will divert your trip to Annapurna Base camp trek, Mount Everest flight and Kathmandu to Pokhara flight for your benefit. Also we advise you to reserve some extra budget for Helicopter charter flights in case you need to take you back. If the flight is on time, we can still arrange you extra trip program as per your interest.
Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu airport pick up to hotel , over night at Kathmandu.
As you land at Kathmandu airport, a representative from Trekking Guide Team Adventure will wait for you with a placard to welcome you and transfer you to the hotel. Overnight at Kathmandu.
Day 02: Fly to Kathmandu to Lukla trek to Phakding 5hr (alt 2610m) over night at tea house.
At 4:30 am, you can have a cup of tea and ask the hotel for your packing, breakfast and be ready by 5 am at Hotel lobby, our car will drop you to the airport for your Lukla flight. Today we will take a wonderful flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2827m). After 40 minutes, we will land in a runway and our caretaker will help us carry our belongings. Then we will walk down to the Dudh Koshi River, where we connect with the main path to Namche Bazaar. After moving all the way through the small area of Ghat (2550m), we will soon arrive at our tea house at Phakding. Overnight at Tea House.
Note: The weather in Lukla is unpredictable and always changing. Sometimes due to bad weather, sometimes the flight may be delayed or cancelled. If the flight is cancelled, you will have to return back to the hotel. The transportation back to the hotel and accommodation on this night is not included. You will have to pay additional for this yourself. If the weather is clear next day, you will get either 3rd or 4th flight to Lukla. If still the weather is not clear, there will be option for helicopter flight also. The cost for helicopter flight is not fixed. It will be quoted by the airlines on the same day. The airlines will use your flight ticket plus, you will have to pay additional approx. 250 to 300 USD. The total cost for helicopter flight is 400 USD approx. You will have to pay additional 250 USD combining your Lukla flight ticket. The weather problem is rare, it only happens sometimes. But you need to know this information in case the weather goes bad. This does not happens all the time, this is only a important information you need to know.
Day 03: Hiking up to Namache bazar 5hr (alt 3440m) over night at tea house.
From Phakding, we will move ahead with a rather easy climb to reach Jorsale and further on passing a waterfall. Now, the trail villages are filled with marvelous jungle of rhododendron, colossal firs as well as magnolia trees. Next, we will walk to Namche traversing some bridges and after that go up fairly hundred meters and walk vertically down and with another steeper way up through the wooded area. We trek for 4 hours today and stay at Tea house.
Day 04: Rest day at Namche Bazar explore hiking up to Everest view hotel to see Mt. Everest View (alt 8848.86m) & Ama Dablam (6856m), Thamserku (alt 6608m) & over night at tea house.
This day is to rest at Namche Bazaar and get properly acclimatized with the high altitude environment. At Namche, a flourishing village located in a huge protected bowl-shaped area, you will have a splendid experience. And the amazing view of the Khumbu peaks like Ama Dablam (6856m), Thamserku (6608m) as well as great vistas of Everest will hypnotize you. In addition, we will stroll to Thami (3810m) above the magnificent Bhote Khola River Valley. Optionally, we can make a trip the Sagarmatha National park to observe the protected floras and faunas. Overnight at Tea House.
Day 05: Hiking up to Dole 5hr (alt 4200m), over night at tea house .
We will move on from Namche Bazar after resting for a day. On this day, we will get see a glimpse of charming surroundings. The path will take us down hill and then we will ascend to pass through the Mon-La pass before reaching Phortse Tenga. Also, we will pass the rhododendron and birch wooded area decked out with lynching lichens and mosses. Moving further on from Phortse Tenga, we will climb to reach Dole. On this day, we will walk for around 5 hours, we stay at Tea house.
Day 06: Hiking up to Machherma 4hr (alt 4470m), over night at tea house.
We will depart from Dole and climb further on this day to reach Machherma lying at an altitude of 4470m. On the way we will notice the beautiful valley where the rhododendron forest yielding ahead as the height increases. Significantly, the outstanding vistas of Cho Oyu, Kantega and Thamserku will captivate you. All in all, we will walk for 4 hours today and overnight we will stay at Tea house.
Day 07: Rest day in Machherama Explore there, over night at tea house.
This day is also to rest at Machhermo and get properly acclimatized with the high altitude environment. We can also explore around Machherma located at an altitude of 4470m. The set saves the experience of the ‘yeti’ which killed 3 yaks and injured a Sherpa girl in 1974. This adventurous area has a lot of things to let you experience. Overnight we will stay at Tea house.
Day 08: Hiking up to Gokyo 5hr (alt 4790m), over night at tea house.
This is one of the momentous days of the trek. Also, you will pass Gokyo-Ri lying at the altitude of 4750m. Today we will stroll for around 4 hours. In addition, we will pass through Pangka and after that walk on the cluttered, dangerous moraines of Ngozumpa Glacier – the largest glacier in Nepal. On this day, we will get to see the series of turquoise Gokyo Lake. We will be delighted by different views of the Gokyo Valley as adjacent mountains adjoining Tibet and Cho Oyu can be noticed. We will then reach to the second lake of beautiful Gokyo, where we can view Brahminy ducks dipping in pairs. Overnight we will stay at Tea house.
Day 09: Early in the morning hiking up to Gokyo peak 3hr alt (5360m) from there you we will see excellent view of Mt. Everest & Makalu. & back to down Gokyo, trek to Thangnag 4hr alt (4700m) over night at tea house.
We will wake up early in the morning and hike to Gokyo Peak lying at an elevation of 5463m. This is another important day of the trek. Hiking for around 3 hours we will reach at Gokyo Peak. The peak will show up the picturesque views of four 8000-metre enormously great peaks – Everest, Cho Oyo, Lhotse, and Makalu as well as quite a few other peaks like Gyachung Kang, Kangchung, Cholatse, and more. We will after that go back to Gokyo and then trek to Thangnag which is set at an altitude of 4700m. Overnight at Tea house.
Day 10: Early in the morning climbing up to Cho-La pass alt (5330m) trek to down Dzonglha 8hr alt (4830m) over night at tea house.
From Thangnak, we will move on early in the morning as we need to hike for approximately 8 hours on this day. We will traverse Cho La Pass lying at an elevation 5330m and we will move down to get there at Dzongla. Moving ahead the valley, we will pass through a point and an old moraine on the one side, before commencing the unsteady path. After that, from the pass we will witness splendid views of Ama Dablam standing to the south east and Rolwaling Valley set in the west. Overnight at Tea house.
Day 11: Trek to Gorak shep 5hr alt (5140m) over night at tea house.
Walking ahead from Dzongla, we will trek to Gorakshep (5140m). We will then arrive at the moraines of Changri Nup Glacier and then pass a series of up and down path made uneven with cairns that takes us to reach at the spot with glacial sands named Gorak Shep. Trekking next to the Khumbu Glacier to we will reach Everest Base Camp at an altitude of 5360m and Mt Everest, the tallest peak on the earth will be facing you. Furthermore, the view of the Khumbu Icefall from the base camp is wonderful. After spending worthy time at the base camp, we will return back to Gorak Shep. Overnight at Tea House.
Day 12: Early in the morning hiking up to Kalapatther alt(5550m) which excellent view point of the Everest region from there we will see in fount of Mt: Everest & Pumo- Ri. & trek to down Pheriche 6hr (4240m) over Night at tea house.
This will be another significant day of the trek. We will hike early in the morning from Gorakshep to Kalapathhar lying at the elevation of 5550m. The tremendous peak views of Pumori (7,145m), Khumbutse (6,623m), Lingtren (6,697m) etc will welcome us. We will also discern the gigantic face of Changtse (7,750m) that divides Nepal from Tibet. We will after that walk back to Pheriche for staying overnight. Overnight at Tea House.
Day 13: Trek to the down Khumjung Village 6hr alt (3780m) over night at tea house.
On this day, we will go on trekking from Pheriche and walk downhill to Khumjung Village which takes just about 6 hours. The community is situated at an altitude of 4,371 m over the Tsola River. Overnight at Tea House.
Day 14: Trek to Down Monjo 5hr, alt (2835m)over night at tea house.
Today, after breakfast, we will go ahead passing Khunde village and followed by Syangboche runway which rewards us with a pleasing mountain sights. Also, we will hike to Thame village and move across the Bhote Khola by means of a bridge. We will then stroll all the way through the region of Thamo and get there at Namche Bazaar. We will again traverse the large suspension bridge above the Dudh Koshi River and after that pass from side to side with Jorsale to reach Manjo. Overnight at Tea House.
Day 15: Trek to Lukla 5hr alt (2840m), over night at tea house.
We will get there at Lukla in around 5 hours after departing from Manjo. At Lukla we will celebrate the last segment of the trek. Overnight at Tea House.
Day 16: early in the Morning fly to Kathmandu over Night at Hotel.
Early in the morning, we will take a flight to return back to Kathmandu. After that, we will transfer to our hotel in Kathmandu. Rest of the day to explore around Kathmandu if any remaining. Overnight in hotel.
